You couldn't make this one up. It seems that not content with their version of Teen Wolf (which is back this month), MTV are now planning a weekly series based on Kevin Williamson/Wes Craven's popular movie franchise, Scream.
As a massive fan/owner of all four movies on DVD, I'm a little dubious about this to be honest. Using Teen Wolf as an example, there's a chance this could be decent (ish) but at the same time, this is also yet another sign that nothing is sacred/US television has to remake everything in sight as well.
That also being said, the producers of the surprisingly fun, The Hard Times Of RJ Berger and Teen Wolf - Liz Gateley and Tony DiSanto are going to be involved, so maybe they'll do a decent job with it.
What does everyone think? Does a TV version of Scream sound interesting or should MTV just leave well alone with this one?
